Diet Counseling

A lack of adequate nutrition can lead to many illnesses including infections. Our counselors provide intensive, in depth, client centered guidance offering support to those who are in need of a balanced diet. As calories are a measure of energy that foods supply, proper intake is needed to provide the human body the proper nutrients to function correctly. To maintain optimal health, our patients are encouraged to limit consumption of empty calories and receive daily calories from foods rich in other nutrients. We are there to provide strength at times when one is unable to make improvements towards a healthy balanced diet. Highlighting past goal successes leads to more effective nutrition modification. We help reduce the risk of serious health problems that can contribute from high cholesterol levels, blood pressure, weight, and glucose. We encourage our patients to make healthier choices and beneficial changes to improve overall health.
